2025 Annual Awards

Sean Kilbane Neighborhood Investment Award – For a commercial property owner, merchant, or stakeholder who has made a significant improvement to their establishment and meaningful contributions to the community.  

Irene Catlin Leadership Award – For an outstanding leader who has made significant contributions to the community involvement and quality of life in our neighborhoods. 

Zone Family Public Service Award – For an exceptional public servant who has made significant contributions to our neighborhoods by working outside the spotlight.  

Northwest Neighborhoods CDC Community Award –  

• Neighborhood Improvement (For commercial, institutional, or residential property owners and/or groups who have made significant exterior investments or beautifications to improve the visual quality of life and neighborhood pride.) 

• Sustainability (For individuals, organizations, or business owners who integrate sustainability into everyday practices and serve as an inspiration to the community.  

• Community Spirit (For businesses, residents, education or nonprofit partners that have improved the quality of life and sense of community in our neighborhoods in the last year.) 

Walter and Pauline Martens Lifetime Achievement- For individuals demonstrating a lifelong record of service to their community.  

Father Frascati Neighborhood Champion - For individuals showing vision and determination in their work for quality of life in their chosen neighborhood. 

Judge Raymond L Pianka Community Partner- For organizations or institutions who have repeatedly stepped up and collaborated with the Northwest Neighborhoods (or its predecessors) on community endeavors.
